Namco keeps exploiting its super famous PAC-MAN brand, launching new games every now and then. Their latest title is called PAC-MAN Kart Rally and it’s been released for a number of platforms, including Java, BREW, BlackBerry and Windows Mobile, with Android version set to hit the market in the early 2011.

Available with 2D and 3D graphics (depending on the phone/platform’s capabilities), the game combines fast-paced racing action with 10 iconic Namco characters such as PAC-MAN, Taizo Hori from DIG DUG, the Prince from Katamari Damacy, Susumu Hori from Mr. Driller and the Fighter from Galaga. Obviously, each character has different characteristics, ultimately influencing the way the kart moves.

There are 12 tracks to race and five game modes, all sharing the same goal – to cross the finish line in first place. The games modes included are Championship, Time Trail, Challenge, Survival and Mirror Mode.

Along the way, you will be able to grab multiple power-ups and items, which should help you win the race, either by boosting your car’s speed or by slowing down your opponent(s)…

If all this sounds exciting to you, simple search for “pac-man kart” in the app store of choice and take it from there.
