ING DIRECT USA launched their Android mobile banking and ShareBuilder mobile investing applications, allowing users to conduct both banking and investing while on the go. The news comes on the heels of ING’s earlier iPhone and Blackberry apps and Android ATM locator app, which were launched earlier this year.
Here’s what each of the two new apps offers:
ING DIRECT USA Mobile:
- Money transfer between your Electric Orange Checking, Orange Savings Account and linked external checking accounts.
- Ability to manage the same Bill Pay preferences you have set up through ingdirect.com.
- Send money to existing contacts in your Person2Person address book.
- Check balances – the application displays all of your accounts and account details like account number, balance, and transaction summary and details.
- ING social media integration – including Twitter, Facebook, “We, the Savers” and YouTube.
ShareBuilder:
- Securely access your account balances and positions.
- Mobile money transfers – move money to and from your account and check the status of your transfers at any time.
- Mobile Trading – buy and sell stocks and Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) and place market, limit and stop-loss orders.
- Mobile Market News – access to the latest market news, stock quotes and charts for the day’s market movers.
- Mobile Watch Lists – create and manage watch lists on the go.
