Remember the Old Spice Guy, Isaiah Mustafa? Of course you do. And you probably remember that we mentioned he was commissioned by Microsoft to advertise Windows Phone 7 down in Australia. Wasting no time at all, Mustafa was on an Australian radio program talking Windows Phone 7 and seducing the ladies of the room — all at the same time.
“She’s got both hands on it. Go ahead, play with it,” Mustafa says as Ricki-Lee Coulter of NovaFM gets all hot and bothered.
Now yesterday I mentioned on Twitter that Jonathan Ive could probably do well with the ladies by reciting Apple hardware specs with his enthusiasm and that accent, but Mr. Old Spice himself takes this thing to a HNL.
We’ve already seen what Windows Phone 7 can do, and our reviews of the Samsung Focus and HTC Surround give us an in-depth taste of what the hardware is capable of. Couple those good impressions with advertising from a man like Isaiah Mustafa and Microsoft can possibly knock this one out of the park.
