For all the hate the Nokia N8 has received in recent reviews, it still packs the best camera any smartphone has on the market. For that, it has been used to film some amazing videos, like the world’s smallest stop-motion character, and take some great snapshots. This time, the N8’s 12MP shooter has been employed to film a short feature called “The Commuter.”
The film is shot just nicely and features some big name stars:
The Commuter is a nifty little action-packed film, directed by the McHenry brothers, and starring Dev Patel, Pamela Anderson, Charles Dance and Ed Westwick.
The short film is seven-and-a-half minutes long and it’s actually entertaining. I’m not sure just how much editing and post-processing was involved, but it does go to show that amazing films can be filmed on a non-professional piece of hardware. You know, the same can be done with pro photography, too.
