Rovio is one super successful company. At this point, they just seem to be counting the money, possibly even thinking about retirement on some fancy island.
The company’s Angry Birds game has just crossed the 10 million downloads mark in Apple’s AppStore. Add other platforms and free downloads to the mix and you get to the 30 million figure. To put this number in a perspective, Michael Jackson’s Bad and Pink Floyd’s The Wall — aka both well-known albums — haven’t been bought by that many people.
Kudos to Rovio, you guys deserve all the glory!
As a side note, Angry Birds is so popular that even the British Prime Minister David Cameron loves playing it. Moreover, there are now Angry Birds t-shirts available for the super fans. You can check them out from here.
