Over the last month or so, we’ve been picking up a lot of release and pricing rumors on the BlackBerry Bold 9780. Everyone from Rogers to T-Mobile to Vodafone seem to have their hands on the 9780 in some capacity, and the list of carriers and retailers offering the device continues to grow. Case in point today, is Best Buy Canada.
They’ve let it be known that pricing on the BlackBerry Bold 9780 will hit $149.99 on a 3-year term, and $499.99 off-contract. Keep in mind, these prices haven’t been confirmed, but I see no reason to doubt their accuracy. The device will be available on your choice of carrier (Bell, Virgin and Rogers) at any Best Buy Canada location starting November 9th.
If the Bold 9780 just isn’t what you’re looking for, Best Buy Canada already has the BlackBerry Torch up for grabs. A slightly different form-factor and feature set for sure, but for my money it’s a solid performer. The Torch is available from Best Buy Canada starting at $179.99, and you of course have your choice of carrier. Bell, TELUS, Rogers and Virgin Mobile contracts are all readily available.
As the insanity of holiday shopping season approaches, I can’t wait to see what new devices, offers and gadgets hit the mobile scene over the next few weeks. I love this time of year.
