It looks like the good folks at Discovery Communications are at it again. This time around, Discovery Health has launched its first app, and it’s exclusive for Android users.
Discovery Health for Android is a free app, and packs all kinds of health related goodness. Browse and read over 10,000 articles, view videos, check out images and watch videos and more. Topics range from stress management to skin care, weight loss and fitness. Basically, any topic you can think of for your health, chances are you’ll find an answer in this app.
The design within is clean and crisp (as you’d expect), and navigating your way around or searching for items of interest is as easy as can be. So far, I’d have to give Discovery Health for Android two thumbs up.
True, the in-app advertisements may be a concern/bother for some, but for the amount of quality media you get in exchange, I have a feeling most won’t mind one bit.
