Samsung and Giorgio Armani are long time pals, having launched a few phones in the past. The next stage in their partnership is an Android-powered smartphone which looks like a Galaxy S variant with Armani-branded apps and content.
From what we can tell, the “soon to be launched” Samsung I9010 Galaxy S Giorgio Armani resembles the Samsung Captivate, which is offered by AT&T in the U.S. Its features include a 4-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen, 5-megapixel camera that can take HD videos at 30 fps, 1GHz CPU, HSPA and WiFi connectivity, GPS, tons of internal memory that’s further expandable with microSD cards.
In terms of availability and pricing, the luxury smartphone is set to hit the Giorgio Armani boutiques in Italy, France, the UK, Germany, Dubai, China, Hong Kong, Spain, Russia and the Netherlands next month. The price you ask? It’s 700 EUR — kinda steep, but then again not too much for an “Armani-branded piece of technology.” 😉
And before I let you go, we have an unboxing video to share. Enjoy!
