StartTalking, the Android app that lets motorists keep their eyes on the road and hands upon the wheel we talked about in the past, has been updated. The new version features additional voice recognition technology and new functionality, including voice dialing, voice navigation, the ability to personalize the phone’s name and greeting, updated application homescreen, and enhanced Facebook and Twitter integration.
As you may know from our previous post, with StartTalking users simply speak their phone’s pre-assigned name which “wakes up” the handset and initiates a dialog through which one can dictate and send messages. The app is also capable of creating audio recordings in a user’s voice that then can be sent to any mobile smartphone.
To download StartTalking, search for it in the Android Market or point your mobile web browser to m.starttalking.com and take it from there. And if you want to keep up with everything StartTalking, you are free to “like” their Facebook page…
