LG Optimus 2X, the world’s first dual-code Android smartphone, will be hitting Europe at some point in January. And while we don’t have the exact launch date, we do expect it to hit the “pre-ordering phase” pretty soon — as a matter of fact I wouldn’t be surprised to see it listed in The Carphone Warehouses of world next week.
Europeans will get the device packed with some exclusive tunes created by Ennio Morricone, which also “borrowed” his music for the LG Optimus Mach LU3000. 15 new tracks will accompany 10 of the composer’s best-known works for the movie industry. And it’s not just ringtones buyers will get – LG also talks about apps, images and videos — all of which will be available as free downloads.
As for the rest of the world, we’ve heard the Optimus 2X will hit South Korea, and most likely T-Mobile in March. We’re definitely looking forward to get our hands on this baby at the upcoming CES and Mobile World Congress. Stay tuned… 😉
