Looking for a new home, apartment, or perhaps even some land somewhere in Canada? If you’re in the market, the Realtor.ca app for iOS is a great way to search and find the perfect property for you.
Put together by The Canadian Real Estate Association, the app allows you to search for pretty much any type of real estate in Canada. Look for properties near you, new listings, open houses, heck, even search for realtors. If you know the MLS # of a property you’re interested in, you can punch it into the app and wham-o, all of the details are displayed to you.
I’ve been playing around with this one for a week or so now, and while I’m not in the market at the moment, it’s a nifty little tool… and fun to use. Popping it open to view homes available in your area, or in other parts of the country is fun. Properties are listed quite nicely, and most contain many photos that are easy to browse and view. Perhaps one of the best features of all is how easy the app makes it to get in touch with realtors. Find a property you’re interested in? One click lets you email the realtor trying to sell the property… you can even add the agent to your ‘my agent’ section, or your personal contact list.
