Fuze Meeting HD for iPad gets Webinar Mode for massive virtual conference meetings

If you’re into getting stuff done and conducting multi-party conference calls with your business team using the iPad, Fuze Box has rolled out some new features in their Fuze Meeting iPad app that might pique your interest. The new Fuze Meeting app brings enhanced Dropbox functionality, and a new “Webinar Mode” that lets you hold massive virtual conference meetings with anyone that has Fuze Meeting for the iPad, iPhone or the desktop. The app is, as far as we know, the first such mobile app that allows you to host webinars directly from a tablet. That means you no longer need a physical room, or even a computer, to hold conference meetings – all you need is an iPad.

With Webinar Mode, you can fire up a webinar from any iPad. You can run the webinar from within the app, and Fuze Meeting can accommodate up to 100 webinar participants at the same time. Meeting attendees can “call” into the meeting using the app’s integrated VoIP solution – so you don’t have to kick out to Skype to join the call.

The new enhanced Dropbox feature lets you upload files and documents directly into your Fuze Meeting content library (which is accessible from within the app). And, to make it easier to help you share your documents with meeting attendees, you can upload those files before, and even during, the conference meeting.

And, because no conference meeting is complete without a whiteboard for hashing out new ideas, Fuze Meeting now features a Whiteboard. Just like the desktop version of the app, users can collaborate (across iPhones, iPad, and desktop computers) on the whiteboard in real-time, sharing thoughts, ideas, or maybe even doodles to help pass the time during a boring meeting (we don’t suggest you do that, but you could).

The new Fuze Meeting HD for iPad is available on the AppStore for free, as is Fuze Meeting for iPhone.
