I’m by no means a Nokia fan, and quite honestly, I don’t follow the comings and goings of the company very closely. That said, my first mobile device was a Nokia, and the manufacturer does cling to a fond spot in my heart. That’s why, every once and awhile, I like to pop up a bit of news on the handset manufacturer… and today, this tidbit is for Canadians.
Bell has let it be known that the Nokia C6-01 is coming to their lineup in the first quarter of 2011. The C6-01 was announced back in September of 2010, and was officially launched in November. Not a surprise that it took us Canadians a bit of time to land the device on our side of the pond. From all accounts the device should hit us sometime in March.
Key features of the C6-01 include:
- Symbian^3
- 3.2″ AMOLED touchscreen display (360×480)
- 8 megapixel camera with dual LED flash and 720p HD video
- WiFi
- Bluetooth 3.0 with A2DP
- microSD expansion to 32GB, 2GB included
- 3.5mm headphone jack
If you’re on Bell, and are looking for a new device to toss in your back pocket, stay tuned.
