Verizon Wireless dumps all Palm products from its website; Pre 2 finally arriving?

Last time we talked about the Palm Pre 2 for Verizon, we said it will start selling on November 11th. Nothing happened unfortunately and now we’re wondering whether the carrier will actually offer the device or leave its portfolio completely webOS-free. Actually, that has just happened with the CDMA-based Pixi Plus out of picture.

I doubt Verizon has dumped webOS completely and I hope the Pre 2 will hit their website in no time. What’s more, I hope more devices — which should be unveiled at the fourthcoming HP Palm event on February 9th — will also find its place in the portfolio.

At the moment I’m just speculating, but I’m sure HP and the Big Red are negotiating as we speak. We all expect to see some hot products being announced at the event. Then in Barcelona at the Mobile World Congress, we’ll definitely try to get some intimate hands-on time with the next-gen webOS products. Can’t wait. 🙂
