Good news for our readers from Russia on a budget as LG unveiled a new entry-level candybar – A160. Although a low-end device, it is described to feature an “attractive design” and honestly, it does (when you consider its price).
Specs wise, don’t expect anything fancy. There’s a 2-inch 176×144 pixels display, 900/1800 MHz dual-band GSM radio, Bluetooth 2.0, VGA camera that can take both photos and videos, MP3 player, FM radio and a microSD slot that works with memory cards of up to 2GB. Moreover, its 950 mAh battery should provide up to 8 hours of talk-time.
As for the size, the LG A160 measures 110×47.5×14.1 mm and has a weight of 81 grams.
The phone is now available in Russia for 2,490 rubles (about $84) and we expect to see it being launched in other markets across Europe in no time…
