For some reason Sony Ericsson Android smartphones — the popular models like the Xperia X10 mini, X10 mini pro and X8 — don’t support Bluetooth file transfers out of box. To enable this feature you’ll need to download and install the “Bluetooth File Transfer” app from the Android Market. Now you are ready to proceed.
Pair your Xperia smartphone with another device – go to “Settings -> Wireless -> Bluetooth Settings.” Then in the “Bluetooth devices” click on the name of the device you want to pair. Enter a PIN code (you can type whatever you want like “0000” or “1234”) and make sure the same code is entered on the other device which previously accepted connection from you.
