Marko Todorovic is a photographer behind the streetartlove.rs, an augmented reality art book that documents Belgrade street art scene. Each page of the book, including the cover, “doubles as the platform” for updatable augmented reality content. When a page is viewed through the junaio browser on a smartphone — iPhone or some Android-powered smartphone — related videos, images, and information about the work, the artist, their inspiration and wider cultural context are revealed to readers.
In total, the book follows the work of 352, Tkv, Air and other more or less well known artists, from their beginnings almost five years ago up to the moment of printing in June 2010.
To see out how it looks like – you’ll need two things: the book and junaio browser. The latter is free and can be downloaded from the two links below. Information on the book is available from here. And once the two are paired, you should select the streetartlove.rs channel and point the phone to book pages to unlock additional content.
Finally, in case you don’t know – Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, is has the best nightlife in the world, according to Lonely Planet. Loving it! 🙂
