ooVoo Mobile for iPhone

During the Mobile World Congress, we had a chance to see ooVoo Mobile app working on Apple iOS mobile devices. The company even promised to bring its super-fast growing, multi-point video chat application to the AppStore at some point in April. We don’t have the exact date, but I doubt even the ooVoo guys know it due to Apple’s app approval policy.

Those not familiar should know that ooVoo is the only cloud-based video communication service which enables high quality 6-way video chat. The service works over WiFi, 3G and 4G to simultaneously connect smartphone, PC and Mac users. The mobile client is already available for Android smartphones and can be downloaded free of charge from the Android Market.

Commenting on the news, ooVoo’s CEO Philippe Schwartz said: “We’re thrilled to deliver our best-in-class video communication service across every platform. One reason we’re the fastest growing communication app on the Internet is because we’ve broken down the platform barrier connecting video calls across smartphones, PCs, Macs and now iOS mobile devices.”
