What can brown do for you? Well, if you live in Canada, brown can now calculate shipping rates, track shipments and more, right from your iPhone. Yes, as you can probably guess, the UPS Mobile iPhone App is now available in Canada.
This is a welcome addition to the Apple App Store for Canadians packing iOS heat. The mobile app for BlackBerry and Android has been available for a few months now… and I have to admit, it’s odd (yet somewhat refreshing in a weird way) to see the iOS port of an app to be one of the last available for download.
Much like the version for BlackBerry and Android, the app for iPhone packs the following features:
- easily track package and freight shipments
- find service locations via GPS
- estimate shipment costs and delivery times
Logging into your ‘My UPS’ unlocks other key features including:
- the ability to ‘nickname’ tracked shipments
- see recent tracks from UPS.com
- create shipping labels to email and then print them
- access your UPS.com address book
- use saved shipping and payment preferences
If you’re a regular shipper, or you often have packages on the way to your front door, this is very much worth a download. The app is free, and you can nab it via the iTunes link below.
