Hello. My name is Daniel and I am a Game Dev Story addict. It’s been 45 days since the last time I played the game on my iPhone where I was creating hit after hit on a number of game systems with my trusty game development studio. I fear that I will fall off the wagon with my addiction now that the game’s developer, Kairosoft, has released a new game called “Hot Springs Story.”
The game plays very similarly to Game Dev Story, but instead of running a video game development studio, you run a Japanese Hot Springs where it’s your job to build your hot springs up in order to attract more customers. The game plays nearly identically to Game Dev Story as its menu system and art style borrow heavily from Kairosoft’s original game. One major improvement that I certainly appreciate is being able to play the game in landscape mode.
Hot Springs Story is available now on the App Store for $3.99 and if you were addicted to Game Dev Story like I was, then it’s pretty much a guarantee you’ll be spending most of your time managing your Japanese Hot Springs.
