Social learning platform Xplana launched an Android application to allow students to access class notes, presentations and other study resources while on the go. Using the mobile app, users can take advantage of “enhanced content creation tools” to record audio and video clips and capture photos of lectures or presentations. Best of all, resources created on the phone will automatically sync from the application to the Xplana platform. Likewise, students can also access all of the content captured from their computer from a mobile phone.
Available as a free download from the Android Market, Xplana can also link to users’ Facebook and Twitter accounts, enabling content sharing and collaboration on group work from any location.
