
Foot Locker is going for the mobile users and has launched (and/or re-launched) mobile websites for its brands, including Foot Locker, Lady Foot Locker, Kids Foot Locker, Footaction, Champs Sports and CCS.
The mobile sites for Foot Locker, Champs Sports and CCS have been upgraded to better integrate with the company’s online and in-store offerings. Additionally, Lady Foot Locker, Kids Foot Locker and Footaction retail divisions now have their own mobile websites.
Customers can purchase directly from their mobile phone or use the sites to view products, find the nearest store, look up inventory, check model, size and color availability locally and monitor their VIP Club loyalty account status. VIP members will receive credit for purchases in whichever channel they shop. Moreover, users can sign up to get mobile alerts about new products and offerings, and there’s also support for electronic gift cards via the mobile site, with the recipient having an option to use the gift card (via their mobile device) immediately. Finally, the site(s) also offers customers the ability to look up shoes while in the store to see ratings and reviews by other buyers to assist with their buying decisions.
Customers accessing any of Foot Locker’s websites via their mobile device will be automatically redirected to the mobile version of the site.
