Adobe Connect Mobile iOS app adds two-way video conferencing

The Adobe Connect Mobile iOS app has just been updated to the 1.5 version and it includes an optimization for tablets and two-way video chatting.

If you’re not familiar with the Adobe Connect Mobile iOS app, it’s a business collaboration tool that lets you connect for meetings. The big feature is the two-way video conferencing, which should help you take advantage of the iPad 2 and its front-facing camera.

Other new features of the Adobe Connect Mobile iOS app include:

– In Meeting Overview, watch all the activities happening in the meeting at once.
– Tap or navigate to focus in on any one meeting activity like the slide presentation or screen share.
– Focus on an activity to enter your input in Chat, Private Chat, and Polls.
– While in Focus View, instant notifications help you stay current with off-screen activities that may need your attention, like new or private chat messages. Tap to focus on new activities directly from these notifications.

As tablets become more prevalent in the enterprise space, we should see multiple business conferencing apps come out of the woodwork. Along with Adobe’s product, we have the Fuze app which has had video conferencing for a few months now.
