I’m live from Sunny San Diego for the Qualcomm Uplinq conference and CEO Dr. Paul E. Jacobs will soon take to stage to give us a state of the mobile industry. Qualcomm has its fingers in nearly every aspect of the mobile space, so it will be interesting to see if it takes a few more jabs at the competitors. HP’s Jon Rubinstein, formerly the CEO of Palm, will also be talking after Jacobs and it’s been a while since we’ve heard about the webOS devices, so he may have something up his sleeves.

HTC’s Sensation 4G was just officially given a release date and Nokia is once again rumors to be acquired by Microsoft.
