We’re pretty sure T-Mobile and Sprint are picking up the new BlackBerry Bold, but what about elsewhere in the world? Last month, Vodafone UK botched their unveiling by saying it had a dual-core processor, but to make up for it, they recently released a quick hands-on video.
The teaser covers all of the major bases, like the 5 megapixel camera with 720p video recording, 2.8-inch VGA touchscreen, and 1.2 GHz processor. Left out are its truly signature features: augmented reality support and a near-field communications chip. The BlackBerry 9900 hearkens back to the original Bold 9000 form factor, packing a nice, wide keyboard and screen, but shaving a lot off the thickness. For a full tour of the 9900, take a look at our hands-on video.
Vodafone didn’t say anything about a launch date, but it might not be until September.Whatever happens, you can get more info on Vodafone’s BlackBerry 9900 offering from their online store.
