There’s a great deal for Samsung Galaxy S in the UK with British online retailer Mobiles.co.uk asking 219.90 GBP for the Android smartphone on Pay as you go. That’s an awesome price for the device which is still pretty capable and will definitely get the Gingerbread update. There’s a catch, however — you will be required to buy a 10 GBP top-up from Orange with the Galaxy S, which usually means the phone will be locked to Orange’s network but hey, something’s gotta give. On the other hand, you will be able to crack that “relationship” with the carrier by rooting the phone…
As a reminder, the Samsung Galaxy S comes with a 1GHz processor, 5-megapixel camera with auto-focus and HD video recording capability, 4-inch Super AMOLED WVGA capacitive touchscreen, HSPA and Wi-Fi connectivity, 512MB of RAM, 8GB of built-in storage and a microSD memory card slot.
