SugarSync announced its new Mobile Device Management capabilities for iOS devices, making it super-easy to get files from your computer to the iPhone or iPad. Using the new feature, users will be able to transfer files or entire folders to their iOS device without any wires, view all the synced data both from the iPhone/iPad or web interface, and refresh files or entire folders with a single click. All said, SugarSync says their solution is the “simplest way to keep your iPhone/iPad in sync with the files on your computer.”
In addition, this latest platform update also tackles several usability improvements based on customer feedback. For instance, there are the improved right-click menu options to quickly add files and folders to SugarSync, and a new “Share Folder” option that adds a new folder to the SugarSync cloud and enables you to share it — all in a single step.
SugarSync has also introduced an updated version of its BlackBerry app, which brings significant usability and performance upgrades. The UI has been revamped to make it consistent with the iOS and Android apps, while navigation kept the look and feel of other BlackBerry apps. Moreover, sharing is made much easier by integrating with BlackBerry’s native email and address book…
SugarSync offers a free 5GB version of the full service, with paid plans starting at 30 GB for $4.99/month or $50/year.
