Aside from the existing W8 and the China-only WT18i model, Sony Ericsson is apparently working on another Walkman-branded Android smartphone. According to the leaked UAP (user-agent profile), the upcoming phone will be marked as WT19 and be released in two versions – WT19i and WT19a. As far as we can tell, the latter device is slated for American market where, if everything goes as planned, AT&T (Sony Ericsson’s usual partner) will get to carry it in the U.S. and Rogers Wireless in Canada.

We don’t have all the details, but we can expect a 3 or 3.2-inch HVGA touchscreen, Cortex A8 processor, while Android 2.3 Gingerbread is running the show with Sony Ericsson’s own UI singing on top of it. We’ll keep following this story and let you know as soon as something new comes up. Stay tuned in the meantime, k?
