SPB Software has teamed-up with mTraffic, a transmission rights holder of the Latin America championship, to bring the 2011 Copa America matches to Android, iPhone and iPad users. The new application was created as a white label solution based on SPB TV. In that sense, it will allow users to watch events in real time, as well as to access game plays, goal scoring and “exciting historical moments” in English and Spanish on-demand. All this will be accessible either via 3G or Wi-Fi network.
However, unlike SPB TV which is an ad-supported app available for free, the official 2011 Copa America application costs 3 bucks ($2.99). Moreover, SPB TV goes beyond devices running Apple’s and Google’s mobile platform, and can work on pretty much any 3G device, whether it’s a smartphone or not…
