Awesome news for the fans of Captain America; Marvel has just launched its first two Android applications, dedicated to their first avenger – Captain America. Unsurprisingly the game (Captain America: Sentinel of Liberty) and the live wallpaper apps are launched just in time when Captain America: The First Avenger is set to hit theaters and will undoubtedly sell like crazy. I haven’t been able to try out the game yet, but I’ll definitely do so later this week. In the meantime, we have the official demo video to share, which looks spectacular.
As you can imagine, the storyline sees you guiding the first super-soldier as he fights Red Skull and his evil HYDRA army. Included in the deal are 24 levels full of 3D graphics, mid-air takedowns, combos and long-range shield attacks. Original soundtrack, script and comic panels are there as well, ensuring for the real Captain America experience.
And now the mentioned demo video after which you’ll find links for downloading the two apps.
