If you’ve been looking to grab yourself the super-compact Samsung Galaxy Tab and also don’t mind having Sprint as your carrier, you’ll be glad to know the Android-powered device is now available for $99.99 through Kmart. That’s $100 off Sprint’s “official” price, making for a great deal. Of course, a two-year carrier contract is required but that’s the standard these days (unless you want to pay the full price).
Even though the Galaxy Tab is the last year’s product with “only” a single-core processor, it’s still a pretty solid device. Heck many of its owners can’t think of using a bigger tablet since this one is much easier to carry around. And now that the Tab’s price has dropped to 100 bucks, it’s fair to guess more people will jump on-board.
As a reminder, aside from the mentioned 7-inch screen, the Galaxy Tab also rocks 3G/4G and Wi-Fi connectivity, two cameras, GPS, Bluetooth and a memory card slot. At the moment, it ships with Android 2.3 Gingerbread preloaded with Sammy’s own TouchWIZ UI singing on top.
