We know that AT&T will have at least one 4G LTE phone by the end of the year and BGR is reporting that this device will be called the Samsung Impulse 4G. They even got a render of it, which you can see below.
Unfortunately, that picture is about all they were able to uncover, as we don’t have any solid specs or a release date. This does look a bit similar to the Droid Charge, which also has 4G LTE.
What I’ll be interested in seeing is if this Samsung Impulse 4G will have a dual-core processor. Many fans have been waiting for a device to combine a dual-core processor and 4G LTE but the Droid Bionic has faced numerous delays and we’re wondering how much of a hit on battery life this may cause. Hopefully, we’ll know about AT&T’s 4G LTE plans soon enough and I wouldn’t be surprised to see the Impulse 4G fully announced at this year’s CTIA show in October.
