Sprint announced the LG Marquee, a $99 Android smartphone, with plans to launch the device in partnership with MADE, formally known as M·A·C & Milk, during MADE Fashion Week in New York City. But if you think that Sprint and LG skimped on the goods because it’s a phone associated with fashion, think again.
The LG Marquee will feature the latest version of Android, 2.3 Gingerbread, and it’s powered by a 1GHz processor. The Marquee also has a 5MP rear camera capable of capturing HD video, and a front-facing camera for self-portraits and video calling.
For better or worse, the LG Marquee also comes with Sprint ID, which allows you to choose preset customizations for your smartphone, along with app bundles to get you started with Android. For more details, see below.
