After the iPhone version, ZeptoLab is bringing the Toy Box update to Cut the Rope for Android. The new application should be available later in the day from the Android Market and Amazon Appstore, when you’ll get 25 new levels with all new trampoline game mechanics. But that’s not all – presuming you got the free version of the game (available from GetJar), now you can save your progress even if you grabbed the paid app in the meantime.
And if you don’t know what Cut the Rope is all about, here’s what you should know (the official pitch):
Cut the Rope is a physics-based puzzler that challenges users to cut an increasingly complicated series of ropes to release candy into the mouth of Om Nom, a cute and ravenous little green monster, while capturing a series of stars along the way. Players encounter new and unique characters and unusual obstacles that keep the game stimulating, addicting, and most importantly, fun to play. With the new Toy Box update, the complete game features 8 boxes and 200 levels.
Finally before I let you go, we have a short video to share, demoing Toy Box in action. Enjoy!
UPDATE: Not so fast, we just got a word that Cut the Rope won’t be going live in the Android Market or Amazon Appstore for Android until early next week.
