U.S. Cellular has announced a trio of HTC devices to be launched next month. The Hero S, Wildfire S, and Flyer tablet will be sold for $199.99, $79.99, and $199.99 on contract after rebates, respectively.
The Hero S runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread, has a 4-inch 960 x 540 touchscreen, a 5 megapixel camera on the back, and 1.3 megapixel shooter on the front for video calling. The Wildfire S is a little more modest, clocking in with a 3.2-inch HVGA display, 5 megapixel camera, and 600 MHz processor, but at least it’s cheap. We’ve got a review over here if you want a closer look. Finally, the Flyer tablet measure 7 inches, but still doesn’t run Android Honeycomb, though there are unofficial ROMs available. It’s got a pretty cool stylus in any case. Our full review is over here.
That’s quite the spread of Android devices, and should give folks with U.S. Cellular more than a few options for the holidays. You can find the HTC Hero S in the U.S. Cellular online store over here, the Wildfire S here, and the Flyer will probably pop up on their tablet section soon enough.
