Samsung released a new bada SDK update to developers. Version 2.0.2 brings support for devices with WQVGA screens, along with the ad library that allows for in-app ads. In addition, all developers can now access System privileged API groups, which were previously available to select parties, only.
In the other news, the Korean company has started working on bada 3.0. The platform’s project head, Justin Hong, tweeted that the current version (bada 2.0) is in the last phase of development and that the design of the next-gen OS has begun.
So they don’t give up that easily? Even though we’re kinda skeptical about the prospects of the bada platform, we are definitely impressed with Samsung’s persistence.
As a reminder, the Korean company had earlier promised to release the bada 2.0 update in the fourth quarter of this year…
