Samsung is running a neat campaign in the Netherlands, offering two of its devices in Pink Ribbon editions to support the global fight against breast cancer. Unfortunately the Pink Ribbon version of the Galaxy S II is not included – users can choose between the Galaxy S Plus and Ch@t 335, the former being an upgrade to the original Galaxy S smartphone, and the latter a QWERTY keyboard equipped feature phone. Both phones are clad in white with a Pink Ribbon logo at the back.
When it comes to finances, the Korean company will donate 10 EUR to the Pink Ribbon Foundation for each and every Pink Ribbon handset sold. The goal is to donate 150,000 EUR.
Minor criticism: I’m sure they would be even more successful if a special version of the Galaxy S II is offered.
