BOLT browser for Android 3.0 is out of private beta and is now ready for the prime time. According to BitStream (BOLT developer) – the new version rocks, packing few important enhancements over previous releases. For one thing, it is said that the BOLT browser is 25 to 50% faster than its competitors — it’s kinda safe to bet they’re referring to the market leading Opera Mini browser here.

In addition, using the new social tab on the homescreen you can easily share stuff with your Facebook buddies. Flash and HTML5 video playback with compression is included, and there are also mini web apps for popular websites like Wikipedia and Twitter. Moreover, the UI has been further refined, making BOLT even easier to use.

Other notable features of the BOLT browser include tabbed browsing, URL auto-complete, download manager, ability to save web pages for offline use, support for Facebook apps like Mafia Wars, text copy/paste, and full support for mobile security standards.
