News about Motorola’s secret device dubbed the Droid RAZR (or whatever it’s called this week) recently had pics leak out to the public, now the device has gotten its specs outed. This mythical phone will be released on Verizon Wireless, and Motorola is rumored to be announcing it to the masses next week around the same time as the Galaxy Nexus (a.k.a. Nexus Prime).
- Thinner and “faster than the iPhone 4S”
- 1GB of RAM — double the iPhone 4 and 4S
- 1.2GHz dual-core processor
- 4G LTE (thinnest LTE phone to date)
- 4.3-inch display
On top of that, older rumours suggest the display will have qHD resolution (960 x 540). Although the specs do look impressive (especially compared to the iPhone 4S), we need to keep in mind that a good portion of high-end Android smartphones already carry similar specifications. Beyond what’s shown in this list, the Droid RAZR is rumored to having splash resistance, a case molded out of kevlar, and a Gorilla Glass screen. That said, we don’t know if these specs will in fact translate to the real world whenever it’s officially announced. Hopefully, next week Motorola will answer all of our questions by way of a grand unveiling.
