Orange Dallas is a dirt cheap feature phone

Orange is about to add another city-named phone to its portfolio – Dallas. The new Dallas from Orange (or just Orange Dallas) is a super simple candybar which will be offered on PAYG, most likely for next to nothing (my guess is 50 GBP, maybe even less).

The new device’s feature set (if we can use “features” for such a basic phone) includes VGA camera, Bluetooth connectivity support, music player, FM radio, flashlight and a microSD memory card slot. In other words, the Dallas is made for folks who don’t want all the high-end mambo-jumbo modern smartphones offer, but an easy to use handset for basic services like calling and texting (and eventually to listen to music while on the go).

We’re definitely not impressed, but then again – we know not everyone wants nor needs a GPS inside his or her phone, right? 😉
