After making its iOS app free to non-Premium users, popular task management service Remember The Milk is doing the same for the Android community. Version 2.0.0 (aka “Deckard”) has been released in the Android Market packing a ton of changes and feature improvements.
The main new thing you’ll instantly notice is the app dashboard from where you can get an overview of your tasks (what’s due today, tomorrow and the new “this week” view), jump to your lists, tags and locations. Then there’s the ability to edit multiple tasks at once – simply select them with the checkbox, and either tap the “Complete” icon, or “More” to postpone, edit the due date, priority, list, or tags for multiple tasks. In addition, now you can easily “swipe” a task to mark it as complete, to postpone, edit or delete it.
Premium users get even more, including the Reminders Bar, freshly revamped List Widget, new “Smart Bar” and “Badge” widgets, and unlimited push syncing — in comparison free users are able to sync manually once every 24 hours with the Remember The Milk servers…
So what are you waiting for – grab the new RTM app for Android even if you’re not their paying customer. 😉
