O2 UK is now selling the HTC Sensation XE, which is still the best Android smartphone made by the Taiwanese company. The Telefónica-owned operator is offering the device for free to anyone willing to commit on a two-year contract with a 36 GBP per month plan. Of course, there are also some more expensive options as well as those that require some cash upfront — all of which you can see from this page at O2’s website (accessible only in the UK).
As a reminder, the Sensation XE is the handset maker’s first smartphone with Beats Audio technology that comes with Beats by Dre in-ear headphones. In addition, it also sports a 4.3-inch qHD (540×960 pixels) touchscreen, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, HSPA (up to 14.4Mbps on the downlink) and Wi-Fi connectivity, 8-megapixel camera on the back, 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, while Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread is running the show.
