Winamp has released a new version (1.2) of its Android app, which now allows Mac users to sync their songs with Android smartphones. To that end, the company also launched Winamp for Mac Sync in beta, enabling 1-click iTunes Sync, playback functionality, playlist creation and management, and wired/wireless sync support.
In addition to the Mac support, this version of Winamp for Android also rocks full access to all available “Spinner MP3 of the Day” songs (previously limited to 20 songs), more albums in CDLP (free on-demand streaming of popular album releases), improved audio quality with Winamp’s native playback engine, as well as various headset optimizations and code enhancements.
The Pro version (available for $4.99) now comes with 10-band graphic equalizer, customizable home screen, ability to navigate or browse your music by folders, crossfade between tracks capability, gapless playback, support for FLAC playback, Replay Gain Support, personalized SHOUTcast station recommendations, and the ability to play any streaming audio URL in SHOUTcast (supported formats only)…
