So you want to use your iPhone or iPad to monitor your baby? No problem, there are several such solutions out there and here I’ll highlight one called iBabyVideo.
First of all, you should know it’s not a mobile only service that can also work with any computer if you fancy so. However, that’s not the point, as you want to access to the baby camera at all times, whether you’re sitting in the front of a computer or not.
iBabyVideo will live stream video to your iPhone from a nursery webcam. Setup is apparently pretty easy and in case you need an extra help, there are “helpful video tutorials.” Some of the cool features include:
- Ability to start and stop the video feed at any time
- Set audio and motion levels to record motion events
- Receive push notifications of motion events – very cool!
- Invite other family members to view your feed
At the moment, iBabyVideo is available for iPhone/iPod Touch and iPad users, but the Android version is in development as well…
