After iPhone and iPad versions, Dragon’s Lair is now available in the Android Market. If you played the game on the arcade or on Amiga/Atari back in the days, you know what’s it all about — Dragon’s Lair is a cartoon-like game with somewhat weird controls. Your goal is to press the right button (left, right, up, down or fire) at a specific time to avoid a trap or kill the enemy. It’s not like there are multiple ways to finish the game – there’s only one “right” path you must take. The graphics are nice, but you’ll get bored quickly. In that sense, I’m not sure paying 5 bucks for the game is justified. Except if you want to bring back the childhood memories, which let’s face it is priceless.

For those who haven’t heard about Dragon’s Lair before, here’s the plot – you guide a young knight whose mission is to save the princess. It’s that simple and that typical, but have no doubts about it – you will be entertained, at least for few hours after which, well, you’ll probably be playing something else…
