If you’re a frequent traveler you simply gotta use some travel management service. TripIt is one of the most popular such services with its users travelling more than 5 billion miles in 2011. In a new infographic, they’re exploring how far those miles take one across the country, around the globe, and even into space. Put 5 billion miles into perspective and you get:
- A round trip to Pluto, or
- 1,226,402 round trips between SFO and JFK, or
- 221,118 circles around the globe.
Impressive, don’t you think? And now the infographic showing this data in a much nicer way.
