If you still haven’t read our CES 2012 preview piece (where we talk about all the gadgets which we think we’ll be unveiled at the show) – do it now. Add to that list this latest rumor suggesting Asus will unveil a 7-inch Transformer Prime and new Eee Pad Memo in Las Vegas.

Of course, we don’t have anything confirmed at this stage, but when you think about it – at least the new Eee Pad Memo makes sense since the existing model was unveiled a year ago. It is said that the Eee Pad Memo 2 (or however Asus decides to call it) will rock a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 7-inch 1280×800 pixels touchscreen and up to 64GB of built-in storage.

When it comes to the 7-inch Transformer Prime, such a device would be even more appreciated with truly yours probably jumping to buy one the second it’s out. That, of course, will happen if the specs are on par with the 10-inch model.

In addition, we hope to see the sexy Padfone at the event too, as well as to learn about Asus’ carrier partners. We’ll see…
