Last week, Paul Thurrott of WinSuperSite published a rumor that suggested Nokia will release an LTE handset for AT&T called the Ace. Additional information from PocketNow claims the Nokia Ace is the rumored Lumia 900 and will launch as a flagship handset for the Finnish manufacturer.
The Ace is expected to debut sometime in the first half of 2012. The handset may include a 4.3-inch WVGA display, 512MB RAM, 8-megapixel camera, LTE connectivity and WP7 Mango. The PocketNow report also claims the handset will be carrier locked, but may support the 1700 MHz band. This opens up the possibility that the phone could be hacked to work on T-Mobile. We should have more information on this and other Nokia phones when CES kicks off next week.
