Samsung announced an updated version of its Galaxy Ace smartphone, simply calling it Galaxy Ace Plus. The main difference between this new model and the existing Galaxy Ace is in the processor used – Galaxy Ace Plus rocks a much faster 1GHz CPU.
In addition, the new device also comes with 7.2Mbps HSDPA and Wi-Fi connectivity, 3.65-inch HVGA touchscreen, 5-megapixel camera on the back, GPS, Bluetooth 3.0, microSD memory card slot, while Android 2.3 Gingerbread is running the show. Sammy’s own software comes built-in as well, including TouchWIZ UI, ChatON, Social Hub, Music Hub and Samsung Apps (the handset maker’s own app store).
It is said that the Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus will arrive later this month in Russia and will also be released in Europe, CIS, Latin America, Southeast and Southwest Asia, the Middle East, Africa and China.
