Budapest is one of those must-visit cities in Europe. It’s not expensive and offers visitors a ton of things to see, including arguably the most beautiful parliament building in the world. And now that it got its first LTE network, both residents and travelers are able to stay connected at top notch speeds in the city center.
T-Mobile Hungary is behind the network, which at the moment covers most parts of 10 Budapest districts with the plan is to expand the coverage to the whole city during 2012.
Before the commercial launch, LTE services were tested by over a hundred residential, small, medium and large business customers, and employees over the past three months to make sure everything runs smoothly. And apparently it does – as you can experience for yourself on your next visit to the city.
Alongside the new LTE network, T-Mobile’s local branch also expanded the existing HSPA+ coverage to include 600 locations within Hungary.
